About the Building
The Perigon Miami Beach is one of the most intriguing residential projects to hit the area. Designed by the internationally renowned firm the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), the Perigon offers a bold, architecturally-advanced world with a lot to offer.
Slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025, the local firm of record is ODP Architects, which is working closely with OMA on many of the technical and practical aspects of the tower. The landscape architecture firm of Gustafson Porter + Bowman and interior design firm of Tara Bernerd & Partners has also earned much international prestige. It is being developed by a well-known name in both the Miami and New York markets, Starwood Capital and Mast Capital.
A complicated geometric arrangement of forms adds up to a symphony of dramatic contemporary architecture, giving The Perigon one of the most unique and distinctive shapes of any mid or high rise in Miami Beach. The 2.43-acre site borders 200 feet of uninterrupted Miami Beach oceanfront, giving residents space to enjoy one of the best beaches in the world.
Above a multilevel underground parking garage is the 25’-tall lobby. A first ever of its kind, The Perigon will feature a resident-only Michelin-Starred concept by Chef Shaun Hergaatt. The building will also feature a speakeasy-style lounge, and nearly 14,000 square feet of amenities. Residential butlers, a house car, sprawling conservancy with daily breakfast bar, in-residence dining, and home management services from cleaning and maintenance to floral and pantry stocking are just some of the services residents can enjoy.
The building will be home to 82 signature OMA-designed residences, most ranging in size from two to four bedrooms that are within a 2,100 to 4,000 square-foot range. Two duplexes on the 16th – 17th floors will offer 5,725 - 6,700 square feet. The Perigon also offers 10 guest suites at about 563 square feet each, which will be held back from sales at first and offered to owners of other units only. Crowning the 18-story tower is the penthouse, a palazzo in the sky planned to be an impressive 8,925 square feet. The building will be Gold-level LEED-certified.
Units will have 10’ ceiling heights through floor 10, and 10'6" above that, floor-to-ceiling windows, and huge terraces dramatically angled at 45 degrees. Together, these elements ensure the interiors of every home in the building offer drop-dead gorgeous ocean views while maximizing privacy from adjacent residences—even the westernmost units will have sweeping views in both directions.
The Perigon is located in the heart of a section of Miami Beach known as Millionaire’s Row. The building sits along the city’s uninterrupted beach walk, which meanders through a natural dune landscape to link together hotels, shopping, dining, and cultural landmarks. The area is also home to the Eden Roc and Nobu hotels, hosting a Nobu and Ocean Social. A little further down is the Fontainebleau Hotel, with a plethora of dining options, such as Hakkasan for steak, or La Côte for Mediterranean cuisine.
